Epic Scottish basket hilted 1828 pattern sword bearing presentation inscription to a 2nd Lieutenant William Greer of the Duke of Albany’s Own Highlanders regiment whilst deployed in Afghanistan during 2nd Anglo-Afghan War, dated 1879.

Comes in its original scabbard. Small section of fish skin lining to the grip is missing, otherwise good condition.
